Blogger for 5 years. Editor of 3 student newspapers. Freelancer.

Naturally a curious person, I grew up in a military family always asking the question, "Why?" My mother was very patient with me thankfully and even as a young child, my interest in investigating things and writing them down grew into a profession, an obsession, and a lifelong dream. Currently studying Media Studies & Communication, I plan to transfer to PennState for journalism. Being here on Suite101 gives me a chance to read other newsworthy pieces, and share my own. After having my blog for 5 years, I branched out to freelance and I love it. I always try to source my articles, write clearly, and just "tell it like it is."
